Case description

If the patient is young, you don’t have to get X-rays in the first six to eight weeks, unless the patient has a history of significant trauma and you are suspecting a fracture, or the patient has a history of cancer, or has constitutional symptoms that indicate infection, or the patient is taking steroids for a long time and you suspect a compression fracture.
