Hand and Fingers Pain
Case description
There are a few hand related problems, that can be a sources of its pain. These are: Carpal tunnel syndrome, in which a pressure on a median nerve can cause pain over the wrist and fingers. Cubital tunnel syndrome is triggered by increased pressure on the ulnar nerve, located at the elbow. Osteoarthritis is a pain typically affecting the interphalangeal joints of the fingers and thumb. Rheumatoid arthritis, in which the pain is located at the knuckles of the fingers and the wrist. Flexor tendonitis, causing a trigger finger. De Quervain syndrome. Basal thumb joint arthritis. All of the pathologies are explained, diagnosis methods are shown.
