Case description

The video shows the operation of transciliary filtration. We can see the massive scarring around the corneal limbus due to multiple failed procedures. Firstly the posterior chamber is drained with TCTCF (Transconjunctival transciliary Filtration). The operator uses the 500 micron Fugo blade tip with tapered sleeve at medium high energy. Importantly, the blade is repeatedly touched (not pushed!), going deeper every time. The movement is continued until the blade goes through the ciliary body into the posterior chamber. A deposit of MMC 0,01 % is made under the conjunctiva proximally to the external opening. Next follows the suturing of the conjuctival hole.
