Case description

45 yo female - acromegalic features and DMII. High IGF-1 and GH.

Surgical point:

Appropriate exposure of the cavernous sinus in cases of microadenomas that have reached the cavernous sinus is a crucial step for adenoma resection. 

In this case, the medial wall was not infiltrated by the tumor. However, in cases where the wall is involved, careful exploration of the medial wall is necessary, and resection should be performed if needed.
