Case description

These are developmental tumors start by birth and slowly grow in size. These are situated around sella turcica, optic chiasma, hypothalamus. They originate from cranio-pharyngeal remnant. They present with progressive visual impairement ,hormonal disturbances-hypothyroidism, stunted growth, delayed secondary sexual maturity, head ache, abnormal behavior. MRI/CTSCAN are diagnostic. Treatment surgical removal with very satisfactory recovery. Early diagnosis and treatment help in achieving cure.
