Case description

Neurosurgery video case: a 19-year-old female patient who attended the consultation with visual disorders, severe headache, a history of convulsive episodes, and dizziness.

Physical examFundus eye: incipient papillary edema.

An MRI was performed, detecting agenesis of the corpus callosum and ventricular dilatation with a positive Evans index, in addition to type 1 Chiari malformation.

Third endoscopic ventriculostomy is successfully performed.
