Case description

Video surgical case: laparoscopic hysterectomy for a fibroid uterus using a single hybrid energy device.


Indication was perisistent and refractory bleeding.


Hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy was attempted and unsuccessful due to cavity distortion.


4 ports were used along with RUMI II manipulator.


Bilateral salpinx were removed in the end to have a better access to the adnexa.


Bloods loss was less than 100 mls.


Patient was diacharged within 24 hrs.
