Case description

The abdominal cavity was inspected, revealing a 5mm, smooth, white loose body in the right upper quadrant, posterior to the liver. No inflammation or infection was noted. The gallbladder was removed without complication, and the loose body was retrieved for pathology. The patient tolerated the procedure well and was discharged the next day. Pathology identified the loose body as a calcified granuloma.
