Case description

To achieve the minimal port size for retrieval of an appendix, I changed my port size from 5mm to 8mm then to 10mm then it needed dilatation for retrieval of the appendix. I don’t use a retrieval bag aiming that my port will protect the port site and the appendix within the port. Unfortunately, the tip of the appendix was outside the port, and with direct contact with the port site. I want to ask if it was justifiable to do all these procedures to achieve the minimal port size for retrieval of the appendix.
