Case description
This is a relatively straightforward case of TME for rectal cancer. Medial to lateral splenic flexure mobilization, low rectal anastomosis, minimal blood loss.
56-year-old female patient, BMI 26.9 kg/m2. Colorectal adenocarcinoma in the distal rectum (3 cm from the anal verge). In MRI T3N1M0, underwent preoperative radiochemotherapy. The patient was scheduled for laparoscopic TME.
