Case description

Removing this parasite which this strongly adhered to the mucosa. The parasite was removed, and its attenuated whiplike end was gradually extracted from the mucosa by a biopsy forceps and sent for parasitologic examination. The worm was a female. Trichuris dysentery syndrome (TDS) is a combination of symptoms, such as mucoid diarrhea and occasional bleeding. Rectal prolapse can occur in children with extremely high numbers of T. trichiura worms. Treatment recommendations are as follows: albendazole. (400 mg once daily for 3 days) or mebendazole (100 mg twice daily for 3 days)
