This 47 year-old male, presented with weight loss of 50 pounds with no prior gastrointestinal symptoms, has a ulcerated gastric adenocarcinoma, immediately after the gastroesophagic junction. Gastric carcinoma is a common malignancy in El Salvador and is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.
