Case description

45 years old male who had Budd- Chiary syndrome with cirrhosis developed in segment 2 previously underwent hepatic vein angioplasty and RFA of 2 cm lesion in the segment. The decision about resection was made when after one month the level of alfafetoprotein had risen to 3000. After laparoscopic resection of the segment alfafetoprotein level lowered significantly and the patient recovered successfully.
