This patient underwent EMR of a flat lesion in the ascending colon 6 months ago; had undergone surgery for stage IV colon cancer of the sigmoid colon. Pathology of the EMR specimens revealed small foci poorly differentiated cancer; surgery was recommended; the patient opted for now to followup without surgery. Multiple biopsies were taken.
