David Lieberman, M.D.

The NIH-funded Clinical Outcomes Research Initiative (CORI) was developed in the late l1990’s to study endoscopic practice in the United States. The project created a computerized endoscopy report generator that could provide a customized report for endoscopists, and simultaneously create a database like CORI to measure the quality of colonoscopy for colorectal cancer screening in diverse practice settings.

Learning Objectives:

•Participants will understand the limitations of colonoscopy for colorectal cancer screening.
•Participants will understand the quality indicators for colonoscopy reporting and performance.
