Case description

Keeping up with the rapid advancement of medical science is very difficult, unless filters are used by clinicians to detect only the valid and relevant information that is useful to their practice. Using the concepts of "Information Mastery," this lecture will present the top 10 new findings for 2012 in gastrointestinal medicine and endoscopy that apply to primary care physicians performing endoscopy in their practices. Only studies that had patient oriented evidence that matters (POEMs) will be stressed. This lecture updates clinicians' infromation on GI care and endoscopy to improve screening and access to GI care throught the United States by advancing the training of primary care endoscopists. This lecture was presented at the 2012 annual American Association for Primary Care Endoscopy CME Conference in San Francisco, CA by Dr. Scott M. Strayer, MD, MPH.
