Case description

Traumatic aortic transection (TAT) is a life-threatening injury characterized by a near-complete or complete tear through all layers of the aortic wall, usually resulting from high-velocity blunt trauma. In this video I am showing  a fresh case of a young male involved in high speed RTA with multiple trauma, emergency Pan body CT revealed TAT( Similar to CT image I am posting here), it showed grade-3 TAT with pseudoaneurysm as you will see in my video. In this case I anastomosed a tube graft, I couldn’t arrange for TEAVAR instead of open surgery. With help of Allah went well, I called neurosurgery to fix CSF drainage. If you need to know some useful tricks ,its my pleasure to help, reach me.
