Case description

Redo case — minimally invasive approach.

Patient history:

• 10 years ago: Full sternotomy for AVR (23 mm bioprosthesis) + MV repair (28 mm ring)

• Current condition: Severe aortic valve stenosis, severe mitral and tricuspid insufficiency

• LV EF: 15%

• Severe edema and dyspnea even during conversation

This time, the procedure was performed through a right anterior thoracotomy:

AVR + MVR + tricuspid valve repair — all via minimally invasive access.

Preoperative preparation, the surgery itself, and postoperative recovery were completed with excellent results thanks to the coordinated work of our Dobrobut Medical Network cardiac surgery team.

Operated by: Oleksandr Babliak, Dmytro Babliak, Serhii Yatsuk.
