Background: Hemodialysis (HD) remains the main method of end stage renal disease (ESRD) treatment in Poland. The aim of this study was the analysis of association between dialysis center (DC) management and patients’ blood pressure control and calcium – phosphorus metabolism. Material and methods: A retrospective review of 16439 medical records describing dialysis sessions in Caucasian patients was performed. All these individuals originated from 9 DCs. The analysis included years from 2000 to 2012 and the cut off time point for evaluation was the start of modern concepts of management.
