Case description
This is a video of a patient who had a very proximal right main bronchus tumour. I placed a subxiphoid utility incision and we spent a significant amount of time trying to assess the tumour to see if it was suitable for a sleeve resection but in the end it was only resectable by pneumonectomy. The bronchus was cut flush with the carina and oversewed with 4.0 vlock suture.
