Case description

Patient with preoperative diagnosis of huge right Endometrioma. After evacuating, finding tumor support Ovarian Cancer. I called to assess the surgical procedure, so I was at the patient right side. In addition to bilateral oophorectomy, an exploration of the abdomen was performed, peritoneal washings and peritoneal biopsies too for definitive pathological diagnosis. Prior informed consent, complete Staging Surgery was performed (by laparotomy) 17 days later. The final Staging: FIGO IC2, histologic type II - HGSOC
