Case description

Renal cell carcinoma represents approximately 2-3% of malignant neoplasms and predominantly occurs in males between 6th and 7th decade of life. The most common histological type of renal cell carcinoma is clear cell carcinoma which is diagnosed in 70-80% of cases. The decision about the way of treatment is based on the level of the tumor expansion. Tumors can reach substantial diameters and infiltrate renal calices, pelvis or ureter. Also the tumor can infiltrate renal vein and IVC and even reach the right atrium
