Case description

Case report of a pediatric patient at emergency unit with blunt chest trauma around 2 months earlier as a result of falling off his skateboard. Symptoms of hemorrhagic shock and indication for exploratory emergency thoracotomy finding extensive and persistant bleeding into the pleural cavit until taken under control  with TachoSil® to improve hemostasis.
