Case description

The footage presents a procedure used to close a nasal septal perforation. It is not edoscopic, but with use of a loop magnification. Good success rate is achieved when a rotation flap and an acellular dermis are utilized. The limitation is that the large defects require full-sized donor site mucosa, what is not always possible. Therefore the maximal size of the defect is 2,5-3 cm in its longest dimension. Poor effects are provided by using cartilage and temporalis fascia.
