Case description

An 8 year old patient presented at the ER with occasionally dry cough during last week. The infant told us he tried to ingest a whole pumpkin seed and he chocked 7 day prior his hospital presentation. The rigid bronchoscopy was perforned under general anesthesia and i found the pumpkin seed inclavated in the proximal part of his right primary bronchus. The seed was successfuly removed and the infant was discharged the next day. He will not be allowed to stay near pumpkins next halloween. Happy ending!
