Case description

In this video we can see the endoscopic view of the inferior turbinate after the radiofrequency turbinoplasty performed because of persistent hypertrophy with obstructive symptoms in allergic rhinitis. The head of the inferior turbinates (yellow circles) had been shrunked adequately with evidence of scarring. On the other hand, the nasal cavity appeared narrow because its body and tail were still hypertrophied. There are the patient's symptoms and adequacy of allergic rhinitis control, which will determine the decision to perform similar procedure.
