Fibrous vocal fold nodules excision

Case description
Excision of fibrous vocal fold nodules by microlaryngeal instruments is presented. Cordotomy with medial flap and removal of the fibrous components from the inner side of the flap could be utilized as an alternative method - it preserves the epithelium. The plane of excision should be kept superficial and thus infiltration of the saliva would be beneficial to reduce over-excision of tissue.
