Case description
Right vocal fold detachment from the vocal process of the arytenoid cartilage is visualized. The main symptom is dysphonia due to shortening, rounding, and siting at higher level than the left on phonation. Airway obstruction (with co-existing stridor) needs an urgent intervention.
