Case description

Cartilaginous deviated nasal septum deviation (deformed nasal partition) is a condition which typical endoscopic findings could be noticed - obstruction of the nasal cavity on the convex side (because of the cartilage bent); compensatory hypertrophy of the inferior turbinate on the opposite side. When patient is symptomatic, the corrective septal surgery should be proposed. Before the surgery, other causes of nasal airway obstruction must be excluded and co-existing conditions ought to be good-controlled.
