Case description

Meningoencephalocele is a type of encephalocele, an abnormal sac of fluid, brain tissue, and meninges (membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord) extending through a defect in the skull

Diagnosis: A 23yr old male presented with a mass in the right nasal cavity since 6 years of age. Was treated as a sinonasal polyp in many centers. CT scan showed an Isodense mass filling the Right nasal cavity extending through the cribriform plate.
