Case description

Endoscopic Stapedectomy is done for Otosclerosis. This condition presents with hearing loss in one or both ears, commonly in females in their middle age. The ossicular (small bones inside the ear) mobility is affected due to fixity. Analysis: This procedure is commonly done under local anaesthesia and the patient can assess the improvement in hearing inside the operating room itself with excellent results.
