Case description

Dr. Robert F. LaPrade, orthopedic knee specialist, surgeon, and sports medicine expert with the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, presents this short video on the Lachman's Test. The Lachman test is an orthopedic knee test used during a clinical knee exam for assessing the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the knee for patients where there is a suspicion of a torn ACL. In conjunction with this physical exam, Dr. LaPrade verifies this injury, as well as any other concurrent injury that may also be presented, with the use of an MRI.
