Case description

The coccyx, commonly referred to as the tailbone, is the terminal segment of the vertebral column, consisting of two to four fused or separate coccygeal vertebrae. It lies inferior to the sacrum. Despite its small size, the coccyx serves as an important attachment site for muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
