Case description

The stability of the fracture decides what type of healing will occur. If there is a small amount of strain (below 2%), primary bone healing will occur, such as when using a compression plate. If the strain is between 2-10%, secondary bone healing will occur, as seen with a cast, rod, or external fixator.
