Case description

The video shows a reconstruction of the anterior bundle of the medial ulnar collateral ligament of the elbow. This technique utilizes a palmaris tendon autograft from the same arm and a double-docking technique with interference screw fixation. Performed by Dr. Eric W. edmonds at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. The case of a 17 old patient is presented, who underwent an injury during playing baseball. MRI scan showed an injury to the anterior bundle of the medial ulnar collateral ligament. Because of this he was taken to the operating room. The surgery is explained step by step. In the end post-op protocol is described.
