Case description

Anterior thoracic spinal instrumentation and fusion for idiopathic scoliosis, performed via an endoscope, by Dr. Peter O. Newton at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Dr. Newton is a member of the Harms Study Group which is a collaborative cohort of worldwide distinguished surgeons who perform comprehensive, multi-center prospective research studies and share the results to advance processes and procedures of spinal deformity correction. The case example demonstrated is of a 13 year old female with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. There is a typical right thoracic scoliosis curve pattern.
