Case description

In this video you can see the anatomy of the brachial plexus. The brachial plexus is a group of nerves that come from the spinal cord in the cervical and thoracic ( C5-Th1) region. It passes through the cervicoaxillary canal and enter the axilla. From that point it goes down down to the arm. These nerves control the muscles of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand as well as provides feeling in the upper extremity. Lesions of the brachial plexus can lead to severe disability. The video presents how specific nerves are created, which roots take part in creating specific terminal nerves. That can help to understand pathological processes and their diagnosis.
