Case description

A case of micro-cornea, angle closure glaucoma, failed within 3 weeks of MTF surgery, due to tenon cyst formation. The conjunctiva was freely mobile.it was managed thus: One additional MTF nearby directed to the area of peripheral iridectomy On the temporal side the conjunctiva is lifted by MMC 0.04 % followed by ballooning with sodium hyaluronate. The latter facilitates the next step - allows to move 300 micron Fugo blade tip under the conjunctiva, and allows the destruction of tenon cyst wall without damaging the overlying conjunctiva. The conjunctival holes are sutured.
