Case description

Two implants are being placed in the position of 11 and 21, in a site with compromised bone and a large incisive canal. Midcrestal incision is performed, extending intrasulcular to the neighbouring teeth and a small release incision distal of 22. The bone defect is isolated and the Nasopalatine neurovascular bundle is prepared and isolated (2:06). Two (*brand hidden*) BLX 3.75 x 12 mm SLAactive implants are placed with a prosthetic vacuum form guide to confirm the optimal restorative position. The implants are placed below the bone margin after minor bone adjustment, in order to secure the correct coronoapical position allowing enough space for the supracrestal soft tissue attachment and aesthetics. The bone defect is augmented with Guided Bone Regeneration. The biomaterial is Xenograft Bio Oss and the resorbable membrane Biogide. Healing abutments are placed for transmucosal healing.Closing of the flap for transmucosal healing with one internal matress suture around the nasopalatine neurovascular bundle, single interrupted and suspension sutures.
