Case description

74 year old male patient with an ascending colon mass (and a caecal polyp in high grade dysplasia). Robotic right colectomy done with use of indocyanine green and intracorporal mecanical anastomosis. The anatomy is not very classical: ICA and ICV are a bit apart, ICV enters the the SMV at a slightly more posterior angle and SMA seems more to the right than usual. The trunk of HENLE has 2 right colic branches. I preserved the right gastro-epiploic vessels.

The postoperative course was uneventful discharge day 3, T2N0M0 (0/35 LN) MSI.

Operative time: 3h30, minimal bleeding.
