Case description

This 42 year-old male presented with severe abdominal pain in the right iliac fossa and weight lost of 20 lbs. Carcinoma of the cecum and ascending colon is commonly believed to produce symptoms of anemia, diarrhea, and alternating diarrhea and constipation obstruction and pain. Symptoms of obstruction and pain are supposedly not common symptoms of malignancy in this region of the colon.
