Case description
Abstract: Angiectasias are the most frequent vascular lesions in the small bowel. Unusual findings include severe segmental lymphangiectasia or idiopathic lymphangiectasia with whitish, swollen villi. Multiple small red spots or petechiae can be seen in portal hypertensive enteropathy, in rare cases even small bowel varices. Ischemic enteritis and vasculitis cause ulcerations of the small bowel.
