Appendiceal Cancer Case Presentation

Case description

This is a presentation of a patient who had a rountine screeing colonoscopy. Finger-like projections were found coming out of the appendix orifice. It looked like a cartoon "hand". Biopsies of these showed a tubular adenoma. The patient had a cecectomy and the pathology showed a 9 inch long appendix tumor that was shown to be an adenocarcinoma.
