Participó en numerosos Congresos Nacionales e Internacionales, impartió Cursos, escribió varios capítulos para los Libros de Urología para estudiantes y Residentes. Tutor de más de 30 tesis de Residentes y Autor de más de 40 publicaciones en Revistas Nacionales e Internacionales, como los Archivos Españoles de Urología. Miembro de Honor de la Sociedad Cubana de Urología, la Confederación Americana de
Urología y Miembro de la Societé Internationaled´ Urologie. Fue un apasionado de la Urología Infantil con numerosos aportes a esta subespecialidad,
practicada fundamentalmente en el insigne Hospital Pediátrico Pedro Borras Astorga.
Colaboró incansablemente con el CENESEX (Centro Nacional de Educación Sexual) y el Instituto Nacional de Endocrinología, fundamentalmente en los
temas relacionados con la Andrología, la Medicina Sexual y Reproductiva. Pionero en Cuba en este campo, fue un Experto de la Cirugía Intersexual que le
abrió el camino para realizar la Primera Cirugía de Reasignación Sexual en Cuba de una persona Transexual de Hombre a Mujer, que fue todo un éxito y
una Revolución dentro de la Medicina Sexual.
