In this video we show a subxiphoid approach for resection of thymoma and thymectomy.
The advantage is that the intercostal nerve is not damaged and the postoperative pain could be reduced. Another interesting advantage is that both phrenic nerves are identified to allow a better exposure and resection of thymic gland.
