In this video we show an uniportal approach through a subcostal incision, to avoid intercostal nerve damage. A left lower lobectomy was perfomed and the postoperative course was uneventful. The advantage of the subcostal approach compared with the pure subxiphoid on the left side is that the compression on the heart is reduced and the instrumentation is a little bit more confortable for the surgeon.
