Case description

We present in detail all the steps of a laparoscopic left hemicolectomy with ligation of LCA and preservation of IMA in a 67-year-old woman diagnosed with splenic flexure adenocarcinoma. The operation was conducted according to the principles of CME, HVL and D2 lymphadenectomy. The duration of the operation was 215 min and the blood loss 40 ml. Pathology report: T2N0(0/28)M0 moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma.
