Case description

In this video there is shown a case of patient with schizophrenia treated with olanzapine who was affected with antipsychotic-induced weight gain, hyperlidemia and metabolic syndrome. There are presented criteria and diagnosis of metabolic syndrome. In the next part there are named different psychotropic drugs which can cause weight gain. At the end there is discussed standard monitoring protocol for second generation antipsychotics.
