Removing Previous Porcelain Veneers Using Laser
Case description
In our last video, we discussed the process of removing previous porcelain veneers and in this video, we have a live patent. Traditionally veneers have been cut using a dental bur in order to remove them and the process can be a bit lengthy increasing the time you have to be in the chair. Using our laser we can zap them off allowing it to be less of a traumatic process to the patient and the teeth. There are many reasons why we have to remove previous veneers. Sometimes patients have had them for many years and initially went with a bright white design and now they wish to tone it down, other times patients are not happy with the immediate outcome when done by another dentist and want them redone.
