Case description

This video presents two cases of robotic bronchoplasty. The first is a neuroendocrine tumour involving left main bronchus and second was mucoepidermoid tumour involving bronchus intermedius of the right side.

Method

The procedure was carried out using robotic surgical system, which provided superior dexterity, precision, and visualization. The robotic approach allowed for careful dissection and safe approximation of the bronchus allowing bronchoplasty and suturing.

Result

In our series, both patients had smooth postoperative recoveries and are under regular follow up.

Conclusion

The robotic platform offers a safe and effective alternative to traditional methods can potentially become the gold standard in such cases.
